Spring 2010 Y MEMBERSHIPWelcome to the YMCA - Get ready for the Y experience! By becoming an active member at the Chasco Family YMCA, you also become an active member of the community. Here at the Y, you will find numerous opportunities to help achieve the YMCA's vision of building strong kids, strong families and strong communities. In addition to dozens of sports and other classes for kids, teens and adults alike, our YMCA offers a gymnasium, FREE ChildWatch, Kids Gym, Teen Center, FREE fitness classes, personal training, and a complete Health and Wellness Center including a dedicated Women's Center and dedicated spin studio. Family MembershipA Family Membership allows full use of our facility and complimentary child care as well as FREE YOUTH SPORT LEAGUES and one FREE Friday evening per month off-site child care (reservations required). Reduced fees on classes and programs for all Family Members.Program MembershipAllows individuals access to programs for a nominal fee such as soccer, karate, swim lessons, T-ball, volleyball, flag football, cheer, etc., without being a Family Member.Financial AssistanceNo person shall be denied membership or program participation by reason of inability to pay. All requests are confidential. Funds for financial assistance are provided by our Strong Kids Campaign.Easy PayFor your convenience, the YMCA has a monthly, automatic bank or credit card transfer. With your authorization, monthly membership dues are deducted on the same day each month from your bank/credit card account. If you should wish to discontinue, a cancellation form must be completed in person at the Member Service Desk. Cancellations over the phone are not accepted, and a minimum 14-day notification is required. GuestsLimited to 3 visits per year at $8 per visit for fitness aquatic areas only. Fees may be credited to your first month's membership if you join.

ChildWatch/The ZoneThe Kids Gym is provided as a complimentary service for the children (ages 6wks-8yrs) of the Chasco Family YMCA for Family Members only. Children may use the Kids Gym while the parent is on-site: The Zone is provided as a complimentary service for preteens/teens (ages 9-13) of the Chasco Family YMCA Family Members only. Preteens/teens may use "The Zone" while the parent is on-site. The hours of operation listed below could vary depending on school (we follow the Round Rock ISD school calendar) The YMCAs of Williamson CountyWhen you join one YMCA as a Facility Member, you join them all. You are entitled to the same facility benefits at all 3! Eligible members receive a no-cost basic membership courtesy of select health insurance companies. As a SilverSneakers® member, you enjoy all amenities included with a basic membership, Senior Advisors' assistance, social events and specialized low-impact SilverSneakers® classes focusing on improving muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, range of movement, balance, agility and coordination. SilverSneakers® IMuscular Strength & Range of Movement. Move through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and skills required during activities for daily living (ADL). Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and standing support, stretching and relaxation. SilverSneakers® IICrank Up the Cardio. Enjoy a heart-healthy, non-impact aerobics class that gives you a safe and fun workout using basic rhythmic movements for the upper and lower body. A chair is provided for support, stretching and relaxation. Resistance tools are offered for muscular strength work.
